Of all the make believe spy gear I have seen in my life, this one has got to be the dumbest by far. Check this out: this pair of “spy sunglasses” claims to work on the same principles as a car’s rear view mirrors with the dark smoke-grey mirrored lenses reflecting the scene behind you on both sides. Now my question is, if these glasses reflect the scene behind the wearer on the inside, how does one see what’s in front of him? And how exactly does one see what’s going on behind in a reflection positioned so close to his eyes without getting really dizzy really fast or getting a monster of a headache? Spending $19.98 on these for real PI work may be a little stupid but if you’re going for the whole undercover-but-obvious spy look, these sunglasses are definitely better than wayfarers!
